We just thought we’d let you know that Phone Recycle Bank have recently been appointed as an authorised waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)  treatment facility by the Environment Agency.

Hoorah, we hear you say, but what does this actually mean? Well, by having WEEE Treatment Facility status it means not only can Phone Recycle Bank guarantee good value for your old mobile phone handsets, but that when you sell or send in a mobile phone to them for recycling, you can rest assured that if they can’t repair or reuse any parts of your old handset then it will be recycled correctly in accordance to European regulations.
